Your files

Uploaded files are converted on our server (a Hostinger VPS) and kept only long enough for you to download the results. A background job deletes each upload 6 hours after it was created, measured from the upload time, not from when you last downloaded. Downloading does not extend that clock.

Per-file size cap: 25 MB. Per-job file cap (after ZIP expansion): 50 files. We do not read, sell, or use your file contents for anything other than producing your Markdown output.

Deletion

When the retention window passes, the converter removes the job folder from disk. There is no user-facing delete button in v1. If you need something gone sooner, do not upload it, or wait for the automatic purge.

Optional email

If you enter an email address, we use it once to send you a link when your conversion job finishes. We do not add you to a mailing list and do not share the address with anyone else.

Analytics (only if you say yes)

BulkMD runs first-party product analytics in Supabase (ap-southeast-1) when you accept the consent banner. No third-party ad trackers, no cross-site tracking. If you decline, no analytics events are sent.

When enabled, we record a random identifier stored in your browser (not tied to your name or email) alongside events like page views, when a conversion starts, file formats and batch size, and whether you provided an email (never the email address itself).

You can change your mind anytime from the Cookie settings link in the footer. That reopens the consent banner without clearing browser storage.

What we do not do

No hidden or covert tracking scripts, no fingerprinting, no selling data, no third-party ad networks.
